We were waiting to find out if we could close early, but unfortunately since the courthouse closes early tomorrow, we will have to wait until Tuesday. We're excited to get the moving started. Honestly we haven't packed a thing. We did however, get everything out of our attic and threw away most of it. That was a job in itself. We were hoping we could start moving a little at a time, so this plan works out really well.
Tomorrow we have some insurance paperwork to sign and we'll be meeting our agent to do a final walk through. At that time he'll be turning over the keys to us. That will give us a few extra days to get some things moved in since we probably won't officially move out of our current home until Wednesday when the fridge is delivered. But maybe we'll have a sleepover Christmas Eve. It would be fun to wake up in the new house...aka our present...on Christmas day.
And after the past two weeks I've had at work, I needed some good news. So excited for our new beginning!
