Today I dropped off the five prescriptions for the FET. I'll be picking up estrogen patches, Estrace, Prometrium, Doxycycline, and Prednisone tomorrow. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be starting the estrogen patches, but I'm slightly concerned about the timing of the transfer because of a concert we have plans to attend. Days 15 & 16 of the cycle I'll go in for blood work before returning on either day 17, 18, or 20 for the transfer. They will alter my medication schedule to avoid transferring on the weekend. Hopefully it works out!
The remainder of the things to do:
- Have the consultation with the lady at my RE's office which will probably be tomorrow.
- Wait for mother nature to show up so I can begin the patches.
- Complete the paperwork and have a notary witness our signatures.
- Pay for everything. The cost went up since last year so now we're looking at $3525 for the transfer, $550 for assisted hatching, and $150-ish for the medications.
- Both of us need our HIV tests again since it's been over a year. We're going to get them together this time....so romantic!
