making the most of it

While we're waiting for the next cycle to start so we can begin everything for the FET, we've been keeping busy. We started a tradition, that for every year we are married we take at least that many trips. We've already had the four trips for the year and we're making plans for our 5th anniversary in October. In fact, the entire month of October will be spent traveling. We might take all five trips before the end of the year!

It doesn't make the time go by any faster, but it allows us to spend a lot of time together and enjoy each other. I know once we finally have a baby we won't be jumping in the car and going some of the places we go now. So I guess infertility has afforded us the chance to still be spontaneous and take all these unplanned road trips, which are usually the best kind.

But more than the trips, I'm looking forward to starting the medications for the FET. Once the next cycle starts, no more beach/pool days for me! I don't think the big estrogen patches would go well with my bikini. By my prediction, we will hopefully be doing the transfer some time around the first of August. Waiting patiently...
