I was able to go to the Dr. yesterday and had both blood work for levels and beta, as well as an ultrasound. They all suspected that I had ovulated late, around day 42 and that my next cycle would begin soon. They called me today to confirm that the beta was indeed negative and that the cyst they found was the result of late ovulation. I should expect my next cycle to begin in the coming week or so. The bad news: The lab has to shut down for two weeks twice a year for mandatory state checks. So I wouldn't be able to start any meds for the next cycle until July 1st. That stinks! It actually more than stinks, but the word I want to use isn't very nice. By my guess, I wouldn't start the next available cycle until mid to late July. Phew...
I will be coordinating an out-of-town wedding in mid-August and this turn of events could possibly prevent me from attending. So May and June are both wasted. Stupid IVF drugs had to go and screw me up. Very frustrating. By the time the next cycle rolls around that we can actually try for, the year will be three quarters gone.
I only have one question: Why?
