Cautiously Optimistic

I got the phone call this morning, that we had been waiting for. They ended up removing 12 mature eggs and 5 that weren't. 6 of the mature eggs fertilized perfectly. Out of the remaining 6, 1 did nothing, 2 were abnormal, and 3 had some changes. Those 3 are being closely watched throughout the day to determine if they further change and can be included with the perfect 6. The perfect 6 won't be examined again until Friday, when the Dr. looks over them with us to determine which one will be transferred.

It's very exciting news for us and gives us some hope. I'm looking forward to my much needed massage tomorrow so I will be completely relaxed and ready for Friday. Crossing our fingers for more changes in the 3 and a good outcome Friday!
