Why?

Over the past several years, we've searched high and low for a symbol that represents infertility, but there isn't one. We are driven to resolve our infertility, but we never know if that will ever happen. We also don't know why. Something we, nor doctors, can answer.

Kyle got his third tattoo Friday afternoon that represents so many things, but mostly our struggle with infertility. The tattoo artist was humbled by our story and honored to have done the new art. At the end of the day when I peeled back the bandages for the first time to reveal the fresh ink, I asked Kyle if it hurt. His response: The pain from a tattoo is temporary, but the pain from infertility is forever.
