Lucky #7 (and #8)

The egg scan on day 13 this cycle had a totally different outcome. One large follicle measuring 21.7mm was found! After the scan I went in to see my OBGYN and as soon as I sat down she said how's tomorrow for the IUI? I was expecting to schedule the procedure for Friday, but apparently the fertility pills and yams did the trick. And we'll be doing back-to-back IUIs; something we've never done before. The nurse gave me the HCG shot in my toosh and I was on my way.

After I left my doctors I called the cyro lab and went down to pick up our donor samples in a very heavy metal container full of dry ice. Tonight I will enjoy some Robitussin (per doctors orders) and following the IUIs around day 17, I will take prometrium until I test. So tomorrow morning I will have the first IUI and should ovulate sometime tomorrow evening around 9pm. Then Friday morning I will have the second IUI and we'll cross our fingers for two weeks. So exciting! Everything is falling into place! Hopefully lucky #7 and #8 IUIs will finally work!!!
