what a combo!

We decided to start looking for a different sperm donor for when we do the IUI. Our current donor which we matched up with through our infertility clinic has a fantastic health background. We've been very hesitant to change for that reason. But we've been thinking maybe another donor would be a good thing since the first 6 IUIs failed.

My OBGYN suggested we look at some of the large cyrobanks to see what they can provide. After looking through the California cyrobank, I found where you can search for look-a-likes. So I did just that! There are a couple of matches that look similar to Brandon Boyd, the lead singer for Incubus. One Brandon Boyd look-a-like even resembles John Krasinski, one of the actors from The Office! Even though the price of one vial is 3x more expensive than our current donor, it would be so worth it!!!

Kyle thinks I'm crazy, but I think it's a fantastic idea. We will probably choose another donor through our current cyrobank, but I'll be keeping the Brandon Boyd look-a-like donor in mind!
