When it comes to all the infertility stuff I know a lot; maybe too much. But some things I don't ask about because I think it gives me more things to think/worry about. So when the Dr. came in before the procedure began, I asked her about the embryo that didn't make it. She told me it was the second largest after the first one we transferred, at 8 cells, and only 1 cell survived the thaw. However, the two that were being transferred had actually grown. The 6 cell grew to 7 cells and the 4 cell grew to 6 cells. We're hoping that's to our benefit.

So as of Wednesday around 9:30am we technically became pregnant. It's a really neat thing to think about, but I hope one day I can actually declare the "P" word and it be confirmed by Drs. I took my bedrest more seriously this time and continued well past the mandatory 24 hours. I can't remember exactly, but I think it's somewhere between 3dpt & 5dpt that implantation will occur. I'm sure there is a difference between a embryo and a blastocyst implanting, so I'm not sure how quickly it could happen for me.

In the meantime, we have a lot of things coming up that will keep us busy and take my mind off of the two week wait. We are looking forward to the upcoming Incubus concert! A couple days later, we leave for our friend's wedding, which I'll be coordinating. After that we'll head over to Tech for a few days. The whole family is combining the wedding and our annual floating down the "rivah" into a mini-vacation. On the way home, we'll be stopping by the newly acquired family property. We finally found a great plot of land to build a vacation cabin on and stay at when we're in the area. Once we're back home, Fall Ball begins with the first game Tuesday night. And the following day will be the Beta. Woohoo!
