I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!

At this point, the IUI might be on hold for another month. For the past two weeks I've been trying to rid myself of a nasty illness but last night I couldn't stand it anymore. A severe sore throat and headache turned me into a whining wimp so I went to the doctor. Sure enough I had strep and opted for 40 pills of penicillin instead of a one time shot to fix my ailment. Even after the 45 injections from the IVF last year, I still have a surprisingly strong dislike of needles. 24 hours later, I feel so much better, even with a lingering sore throat and slight fever.

But the fever is what worries me. The past couple of mornings my BBT has been above 98, which is where it is following ovulation. I'm not sure if the fever has messed me up this cycle. If my temperatures stay high I'll probably cancel my egg scan Friday and wait till next month. I don't know what's worse, being sick or waiting another month for the IUI...
